At West Crane Services, we spend most of our time talking about cranes, hoists and lifting solutions — but every now and then it’s worth stepping back to share something a little different. Throughout June, our team across Truganina and Dandenong proudly went pink to help raise awareness and funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation.
From pink shirts to pink accessories, the whole team got involved — workshop, office and field staff alike. It was hard to miss a splash of pink somewhere on site for the entire month.
One team member took it a step further
A special mention has to go to Matt, who showed some serious commitment to the cause by dyeing his hair pink for the occasion. There was no missing him around the office, and we’d say he wore it better than anyone expected.

Why it matters
Breast cancer affects far too many Australian families, and awareness campaigns like this one play a real role — not just in fundraising, but in starting conversations that might not happen otherwise. A huge thank you to everyone across our team who donated, got involved, and helped make the month a success.
Every conversation started, every dollar raised, and every splash of pink helps make a difference.
Lifting more than loads
At West Crane Services, our day-to-day is about keeping Victorian businesses lifting safely and efficiently — but we’re also proud to be part of a team that looks out for each other and the wider community. Initiatives like Go Pink Day are a reminder that there’s more to who we are than overhead cranes and hoists.
Together, we’re lifting more than loads — we’re helping lift awareness.
