New 2x 5 Tonne Overhead Crane Project

West Crane Services is proud to announce the successful completion of another major overhead crane installation project, delivering two custom-designed 5 Tonne Overhead Crane Systems for an Australian industrial facility.

The project involved the full design, manufacture, supply, and installation of:

• 2x 5 Tonne Overhead Crane Systems
• 26 Metre Span Crane Structures
• Guralp Wire Rope Hoists
• Åkerströms Remote Control Systems
• Crane Rail Supply and Installation
• Conductor Bar System Installation

Complete Turnkey Crane Solution

This project showcased West Crane Services’ ability to deliver complete turnkey crane solutions from concept through to commissioning.

Our engineering and manufacturing teams worked closely with the customer to ensure the crane systems were designed to suit the operational requirements of the facility while maintaining a strong focus on safety, reliability, and long-term performance.

The 26 metre span cranes were manufactured to meet Australian Standards and built to handle demanding lifting operations efficiently and safely.

Premium Components for Reliable Performance

The crane systems were fitted with high-quality Guralp wire rope hoists, providing smooth and reliable lifting performance for the customer’s operational needs.

To further improve safety and operator control, the cranes were also equipped with Åkerströms wireless remote systems, offering operators greater flexibility and visibility during crane operation.

In addition to the crane installation, our team also completed the crane rail and conductor bar installation works, ensuring the entire system was delivered as a fully integrated solution.
